These terms govern your use of Jotkin, an iOS app and website operated by Ramos Consulting, LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By using Jotkin, you agree to these terms.
Jotkin is a gift coordination app that lets you create cards for the people in your life, add wishlist items and clothing sizes, and share those cards with family and friends. It is built for personal, non-commercial use.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Jotkin. By using the app, you confirm that you meet this requirement. If you are a parent or guardian setting up cards on behalf of a child, you are responsible for the content you add.
Jotkin uses Apple's iCloud and CloudKit to store your data. You need an Apple ID to use the app. We do not manage your Apple account — Apple's terms and privacy policy govern that relationship.
You can use Jotkin to create cards, add wishlist items, share cards with people you know, and claim items for others. You agree not to use Jotkin to post harmful, illegal, or misleading content, or to harass or harm others. We reserve the right to terminate access for anyone who misuses the service.
Jotkin offers an optional subscription that unlocks sharing. Subscriptions are processed entirely through Apple's App Store. We never see or store your payment information. Pricing, billing frequency, and cancellation are managed through your Apple ID settings. Refund requests are handled by Apple, not by us. If you cancel, your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period.
You own the content you add to Jotkin — your card names, wishlist items, photos, and sizes. By using Jotkin, you give us permission to store and display that content to the people you choose to share it with, for the purpose of making the app work. We don't use your content for advertising. We don't sell it. We don't share it with third parties except as necessary to operate the service (Apple's CloudKit infrastructure).
We do our best to keep Jotkin running smoothly, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted service. We may update, modify, or discontinue features at any time. We'll give reasonable notice before discontinuing the service entirely.
Jotkin is provided as-is. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ramos Consulting, LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or your use of Jotkin is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You can delete your account and all associated data from within the app at any time. Data deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
If we make meaningful changes to these terms, we'll update the date at the top. Continued use of Jotkin after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
