Jotkin started as a way to share clothing sizes with family, especially as kids grow. Over time it grew to include wishlists and interests, organized around people and giving better gifts.

What is Jotkin?

Jotkin is an iPhone app that keeps the sizes, wishlists, and interests of everyone you shop for in one place. Share a card with family, and everyone shops from the same, up-to-date details.

Who creates a card?

We recommend everyone creates their own card, so their sizes, wishlist, and interests stay up to date. But you can create as many cards as you want, like for your kids or anyone who isn’t on Jotkin yet.

Is Jotkin free?

Yes. Jotkin is free to download, with unlimited cards, sizes, gift ideas, interests, birthday reminders, and a list of what you gave each person last time. Sharing cards with other people comes with a subscription.

What does a subscription add?

Sharing. Share any card you create with select friends and family, keep sizes, interests, and wishlists synced for everyone, and add editors to help keep cards current. It’s $3.99 a month, $9.99 a year, or a one-time $29.99 for lifetime access.

Will they find out what I’m getting them?

Not from Jotkin. Claim an item on any card and it stays a secret. You can change visibility for each person on the share, and claims that were hidden in the past stay secret. Every card also has Under Wraps, a private corner for your own notes, gift ideas, and past gifts that only you can see.

Do I need to create an account?

No. There’s no login: Jotkin uses your iCloud account, and your cards live there.

Is my data private?

Yes. Your cards, wishlists, photos, and sizes live in your own iCloud account and belong to you. Jotkin has no ads, and your data is never sold.

Can I cancel my subscription?

Of course! Open the Settings app, tap Apple Account, then Subscriptions. Select Jotkin, then tap Cancel Subscription. Your subscription stays active until the end of the billing period.

Is Jotkin available on Android?

Unfortunately, no. Jotkin was made just for iOS, and we’re not currently planning an Android version.
